Origins
A band built around a specific repertoire.
Electric Blue was founded in Turin in 2018 as a tribute band dedicated to The Cranberries. From the first rehearsals, the aim was to approach that repertoire with attention to dynamics, sound and live performance rather than simply reproduce its best-known songs.
The rehearsal room soon became the project's operational home: a stable place in which arrangements, repertoire and concerts were developed. Over time, that same space grew into a professional recording and music-production environment.

The beginning

Musical continuity

Within the history of Electric Blue, Giorgio Giardina and Elvis D'Elia represent two elements of continuity from 2018 to 2026. Their work on The Cranberries' repertoire runs alongside wider experience in recording, production, songwriting and live performance.
Giardina develops an approach centred on sound, arrangement and guitar architecture; D'Elia builds a deep understanding of the repertoire's rhythmic dynamics, balancing impact, space and breathing room.
Their experience does not begin or end with a tribute project: both bring years of music-making, studio work, recordings and shared stages.
The value of a tribute band is not measured only by resemblance, but by its ability to make a repertoire live on stage, night after night.
2026
The end of the historical line-up.
In 2026 the shared line-up comes to an end. The history built during the previous eight years remains, but that specific configuration of the band is over.
After the split, a different line-up continues to use the name Electric Blue. Giorgio Giardina and Elvis D'Elia choose not to open a dispute over the name and instead build a new project, with a new line-up, a new public identity and an independent artistic direction.
That choice leads to Electric Blue Experience — The Cranberries Reimagined.
Two distinct projects
Electric Blue and Electric Blue Experience are now separate entities. This website is a historical archive of the project founded in 2018 and of the historical line-up that ended in 2026.
Since 2026
The journey continues under a new name.
Electric Blue Experience carries Giorgio and Elvis's years of work on The Cranberries' repertoire into a new line-up and a new artistic direction.
